Yes - Live at Lugano Estival Jazz 2004
This is a Swiss TV broadcast of Yes' performance at Lugano Estival Jazz (I'm assuming that roughly translates to "Lugano Jazz Festival"). July 8, 2004. It is a very abridged version of their typical 2004 shows. However, as far as performance, I think this blows "Songs From Tsongas" out of the water! Steve Howe really nails "Mind Drive" and the end of "South Side of the Sky" is possibly the best performance I've seen thus far. This is the last show I have to upload at this time but hopefully I will have some more for you all soon. Enjoy!
Yes - Masterworks Live
Live in Holmdel, NJ July 19, 2000. This show is from a DVD made from the SFX webcast. My guess is that whoever made this DVD used the audio from the FM broadcast of the show. At times the audio and video are slightly out of sync, but a great performance nontheless.
Yes In Anaheim 2004
35th Anniversary Tour at The Arrowhead Pond Anaheim, California April 20th 2004. This is a show that I recently obtained through a trade. This is an outstanding show! The band is very tight and Steve Howe is completely out of control! Audio and video quality are quite good. I just want everyone to know that I put *a lot* of effort into making this show watchable. The audio on the DVD I received of this show was horribly out of sync and continued to get worse as the show progressed. I put many hours into watching the show and trying to determine how to fix the audio. In the end, I had to offset the audio by 50 milliseconds every ten minutes. I normally wouldn't go to all that trouble, but this show is definitely worth it! Enjoy!
Yes In Los Angeles 2002
Ok Yesfans, here's another show I just acquired recently. This is from the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California on December 5, 2002. The camera work is *very* shakey, but the video and audio quality is quite good. Obviously this is an audience recording and not a pro-shot. Hope you all enjoy it!!
Yes - Going For The One Sessions 1976
Back in 1997 or so, I received my first bootleg videos in the mail from some kind-hearted people on the alt.music.yes newsgroup to get me started with trading. I was fifteen at the time. One of those videos was a VHS copy of the Going For the One Sessions. Since then, I have seen three or four different incarnations of this video. No two seem to be the same. Some are better quality than others, some have poorly synced audio, and they all seem to have a different assortment of scenes. Until now that VHS copy was the best, most complete version I had ever seen. I have now acquired a far superior DVD copy with much better video quality, perfectly synced audio, and scenes that I have never seen before. It is missing some scenes that I've seen on other copies, but I still consider this the best version to date. Some of these videos have been uploaded by others on Youtube, but I'm reupping them in hopes that mine will be the best quality. For those of you that don't know, this is a recording of Yes recording the Going For the One album in Montreux, Switzerland. It is quite interesting to see them jamming, laying down different parts on the tracks, as well as just being generally silly. Hope you all enjoy it!
