Even if i'm a professional musician , this page is not for commercial purpose !
This page is just for sharing various musical pieces that have a special meaning to me.
Sure I had tremendous pleasure making them but it was also quite a lot of work to come up with something up to my own criteria of quality .
Sometimes it was musically dificult but most of the times ,more of a technical challenge to have good sound and ( I hope !)interesting pictures.
ABOUT THE NEVER ENDING MUSICAL TRAVEL :
I started to play in Rock bands quite a long time ago ,and the fond memories of rehearsing in a garage with my buddies as a teen is something important to me!
Even if I still love electric guitar ,In the last years my passion for music moved more towards acoustic guitar , mandolin and an increasing love for the violin!!
(The Lost Indian Postcard video feature some of my violin playing while there is some electric mandolin solo on the Somewhere in the 70's video; La Raison D'etre is a classical influenced guitar solo piece)
I have also a deep love for Blues music!
In that style of playing the Slow Blues video is the most raw stuff I did while Funky Blues for example is more a mix with jazz elements.
( I thank all the great musicians and friends featured on the concerts videos ! )
I dig also creating soundscapes with effects and do quite a lot of session work using that. ( Dreamy Afternooon in the Park ,Stranger in Town videos)
Some of the pieces you can see are really personal and mix music with my love of the pictures,I directed them;
In fact I try to express,beyond the music itself, some of my day dreaming throught them !
The sound of the studio videos is recorded and mixed by my good friend Reynald Evrard .
All the pictures are taken by another friend Xavier Queyrel (Oeil Malin Videos)with a single camera.
