I am gay, like cute boys (which should be obvious from my fav's and playlists - don't forget to check my playlists as I have some good stuff there but haven't figutred out how to get them to be shown on this page) but it is much more important for friends/lovers to have an interesting personailty and/or interesting ideas or odd/unique intelligence and way of looking at life. I am pretty easy-going and like to met new people and discover new places, ideas, tastes, points-of-view, ways of living, etc.
The only thing I regret is the time I spent working in public relations for big companies promoting bogus trendy products and fashions.

Interests:
I have fairly standard interests, films, books, art, architecture (I love the baroque)and history. I enjoy walking around cities and the countryside, seeing friends, indulging all the usual vices (sex, drugs and booze). I like eating out but the person or people I am with are of more importance then the food.
Movies:
I really enjoy the cinema and my favorite films are by the Italian masters - Visconti, Pasolini, Fellini and Bertolucci - for me La Luna and The Conformists are films everyone should see.
Music:
I'm eclectic in my taste and also lazy because I've always had friends who had such good taste I never had to bother remembering names of groups, etc.
Books:
I do read alot, history, biography as well as fiction - the best books I've read recently are Jamie O'Neil's 'At Swim Two Boys', Hal Duncan 'Vellum', Jeff Vandermeer 'City of Saints and Madmen', Theodore Surgeon 'The Perfect Host' and Samuel R. Delaney Dhalgren'.
