Hi: pattern reads as follows: Knit 1, *knit next stitch, leaving stitch on right hand needle, (take yarn over needle and pass stitch over this loop) repeat this 4 times to make a chain with this stitch - this will be referred to as make chain, knit 1, repeat from * to end. ------ there are 51 stitches on a row
I'm confused! Please could someone help preferably by posting a video, if not by emailing me: crishworth@hotmail.com
Thanks so much in advance!

I am knitting a butterfly pattern, using a graph pttern. Complex cable, workable. Problem is - inside of the wings is stockingette stitch, and part of the outside of the wings goes verticle, and I don't know how to make the part of the cable outline work verticle and stand out against the insidse of the wings. Can anyoue help. e-mail is pinao@hawaii.rr.com
Thanks, Susan
