KIXMET is a progressive/new age metal band. We're moving in a different direction lyrically. We incorporate different unlikely influences in our brand of metal. Our crazy influences include Retro Pop, Indian folk beats, bollywood background music of the 80's, Indian and western classical music. Our songwriting reflects reality of our existence, so its got a wide range of emotion from anger, tenderness, pain, love, all the kind of "Sissy" things that most metal band's don't talk about. And yeah there's a fair amount of preaching about the state of the world and some horrible guitar playing.
We're the only metal/rock band in India that have never played a single cover in all their gigs.
