There are times when I've enjoyed singing Karaoke in hotels or even on a cruise ship. But I can't tell you how much fun I had when I was invited to perform with jazz guitarist, vocalist Randy Hall who you may also know was instrumental in helping Miles Davis with his career. Then Joe Esposito who is known for his music in films like The Karate Kid and Flashdance and other Hollywood films. At the time I had no idea that I was being recorded, but many thanks to Sue Cooper of Search Engine Academy Australia for sending me this short clip. I was thrilled to be invited up to sing with these professional musicians before a live audience on 3 nights. By the way, I know I don't really sound like Elvis or look like him and I know the applause in the end was probably mostly for Joe and Randy and for the nostalgia of the music. But I had an absolutely awesome fun time which I'll never forget.

If you are ever visiting Las Vegas, please drop into the Tuscany Hotel where you'll be able to hear these performers sing every night except Mondays. If you do drop in, tell them that John Alexander sends them a big hug. I am spoiled now for their music and their voices. You'll find them billed as "Cool Change" and performing in the Piazza Lounge at the Tuscany hotel.
