All Iran needs to do is have the threat of 5-ten rockets that can reach the satellite orbit and the ability to detonate them there. It would create enough orbit debris orbiting at several thousands of kilometers per hour, destroying all possibility of having another spaceship like the shuttle ever taking off again as well as destroying 90% of military and civilian sattelites. to Pickering: Dude! when you are talking about distrust or mistrust or what ever, it's the case for Iranians as well. Just take a look back in history of Iran-US relation. This building trust cannot be happening over a night. It's now a cultural conflict in Iranian people's mind. think about it. As a person who lived in Iran more than 25 yrs, and now am here, I would say that the solution is just right there. you should look carefully, and talk to Iranians like you talk to Americans. They are smart enough to realize what the situation is....make Iran a friend, but not by threatening them all the time and putting deadlines etc... . Iranian people have a great history back them. so be careful when dealing with them...it's a bit also understanding of those people psychology as well.
