Too similar to be accepted as a coincidence, in common sense, or legally. Remember how George Harrison got sued for "My Sweet Lord" and lost, because it was deemed too similar to "He's So Fine"? It doesn't have to be direct plagiarism to be actionable.

is it impossible for this to be a coincidence? especially considering the other video has what... 500,000 views. its not at the top of the charts or anything. plus, the advertising power of kitties joke was done in that "funny people" movie by adam sandler a couple years ago. so did pixelpersecond rip them off?

After stealing the concept, writing and treatment of Kittyvideos from Pixelpersecond, I strongly suggest a public apology to Pixelpersecond in order to halt the flood of negative PR this id going to bring.
