http://www.newmlm... "Aim high! Reach for the sky!" Goal setting is a primary requirement when we begin our MLM ride. We are told that the fuel that will keep us going is our Why. Weeeell... that depends. Don't get me wrong, Seneca said almost 2000 years ago that "If a man does not know to what port he is steering, no wind is favorable to him". Many of us in the beginning settle for goals that are supposed to fire us up but instead they sabotage a great start. I think we have all been there and done that.
John Lennon in an interview put it swiftly, when he was asked how The Beatles conquered the world he gave a simple answer: "Our first goal was to conquer the people attending the club we were playing at, then to play in the best club in Liverpool, we'll then go on to be the best group in the city, the best in the county, then we aimed to be the best band in England. Then we conquered Scotland. We had a staircase, a path to follow." See the picture?
The message here is that to get to the Red Queen you start from following the White Rabbit. A goal is only achievable until it becomes believable. Let's say that you dream about making $100,000 a month. Other people earn that amount, there's no question about it. But... have you earned that number before? If the answer is no, you'll be having a lot of trouble convincing yourself you're going to achieve that. It becomes a burden keeping you down instead of a liftoff rocket. There's a chance that aiming for an extra $1000 a month feels better to imagine. Find that "sweet spot" where a goal makes you feel good, excited because you are enjoying that wish.
I came across a good exercise that illustrates this point:
Make a list of 10 wishes you'd like to come true if money and time weren't a problem. On a scale from 1 to 10 you're going to estimate each one of them on how much you believe you can achieve them in the next six months. There are going to be some "ones", "fives", but at least one "ten". That "ten" is your White Rabbit. Spend the day remembering that "ten". I'm not saying you have to forget about your other wishes, just focus in the one that boosts your faith the most, the one that gives you energy instead of taking it. May it be your first thought in the morning and the last before you close your eyes at night.
Take this challenge and in a month from now things are going to change in your life. Just do it. If you comment on this note you owe it to yourself to make that list and aim for your "10". Share this transforming exercise with others and we'll cheer each other up, be consistent. Your wealth is Now, come and claim it.
Have the best Life you can conceive... little by little
