A short film.

Featuring an excerpt from "Television" by Roald Dahl as read by Clay McCleod Chapman.

How nice--I really enjoy playing in Merkin, it's also a great venue for chamber music.

Arturo, I already posted the third movement a while ago. For some reason, it's banned in basically all civilization by Sony Music Entertainment, even though the other movements were only banned in Germany. I'd be happy to email the audio file to you, or post it somewhere where there isn't this copyright restriction.

I agree wholeheartedly, Heifetz's Vieuxtemps is something else. I'm not very knowledgeable about violin, but Heifetz had a unique style that immediately captured my imagination when I first heard his playing. My favorite of his recordings is of the Mozart 4rh. Do you have any recommendations for other violinists to listen to?

No one seemed to take notice so I went back to posting piano recordings. But I will post the third movement of the Vieuxtemps.

Check out some of Johanna Martzy's work..I have only found her recently on YT..there are several uploads available now...you probably "know" her already. Everytime I come across a recording with Boult as a conductor, I now giggle a bit..thinking of your pompous ass comment...and I also think about your vomiting on the G string comment and I nearly go into hystrics....you sir, are just a hoot...now get busy and entertain some more....

Hello My friend...why is it you are always stirring up such controversy!!!! (laughing and laughing!!!) Just teasing...it is because what you say carries such merit...you generally know that of which you speak and "crappy" people don't enjoy such. I love your commentaries, if I thought you needed my defense, you would have it..but I know better :) Your Moonbeam

Why you wright such a bullshit. Are you sick?

Oh..of course I should say..I do know Neveau's work well and her history! I am well aquainted with her magic!

I do know Morini..and another near forgotten one is Camilla Wicks...there is none of her work here on YT. The others you listed I don't know. Do explore Tibor Varga..I could not believe I discovered him so late in life and I am only happy that I did.

She had met Francescatti...she said he had every technical skill imaginable..but she prefers Heifetz's expression over him..go figure..but thats her taste. She also loves Stern and I like him as well. We agreed that each person must be touched by something different..but clearly she ADORES Heifetz. She is not at all lukewarm in her opinions...I could tell she thought I was an idiot because I don't LOVE H, but I didn't want to be dishonest just to please her. There were others I would have loved to have asked her about..Milstein, Kogan..I didn't want to be pushey and there were some things she wanted to tell me...so I let things go where they might.
