About Me:

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) works to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world. The IMF is governed by and accountable to the 187 governments of the countries that make up its near global membership.

The IMF supports its membership by providing:

Policy advice to governments and central banks based on analysis of economic trends and cross-country experiences;

Research, statistics, forecasts, and analysis based on tracking of global, regional, and individual economies and markets;

Loans to help countries overcome economic difficulties;

Concessional loans to help fight poverty in developing countries; and

Technical assistance and training to help countries improve the management of their economies.

Dear Heba: thanks for your comment! We're happy you found the time to visit our YouTube channel. In response to your question, the Egyptian government and people will define the economic policies that suit your country best. We at the IMF can help by providing technical and policy advice to support the quest for more inclusive growth. If the Egyptian government should decide that financial support also would be useful, the IMF is ready to help as well, based on an assessment of the financial needs.

For more information on the IMF and Egypt, check out the following link: http://www.imf.org/external/country/EGY/index.htm

The IMF is doing the job needed to stabilize the world's economy, but the benefits are exclusive. The government, civil organizations and the private sector must work together to find an universal solution.

IMF is part of the problem, not a solution, debt does not resolve debt.
