What a beautiful hole. Great use of the edge of the lake by the course designer.

Can't argue with you there. 21:45 was a pointer to one scrum I saw. It's amazing just how simple the scrum used to be - now it's a complete farce.

Nice one. I'm going to have to look at this. I've lost a lot of weight lately and most of my clothes are too loose now. This looks a perfect way to get to keep them, and if I mess up, they were too big anyway

Hi mark, interesting stuff. Wonder if it's possible for me to tell roughly whether I'm hitting up or down on the ball with my driver without going for a trackman session. Is it something I can feel by hitting deliberately up and down on the ball excessively to feel the difference and if so, any tips to help?
Thanks

Great video. But it got me thinking, what is 'extra distance'? I mean, my 4i gives me extra distance over my 5i, but it sprays it around more too so it's not necessarily better. What I want is a club that hits as far my 4i but only has the dispersion of my 5i. In the vid the TM carries 135-140, so the test should be to get whatever stock Miz carries 135-140 and see which is the more accurate club by calculating the standard deviation of left/right of target.

The 'ducks in a line' is a common problem in lower budget team sports games, such as rugby union, and it is, like you say, because the angles the AI runs are based on what the player with the ball is currently doing, and not based on a calculation of what he is likely to be doing. In this case, the safeties ought to know the receiver is probably going to cut upfield but they pursue as though he's going to continue crossing the field.

"So here I am, hardest hole on the course. Bang, bang, and I'm on the green with a birdie chance" It's almost unfair when someone makes it look so simple.
Re: the feature - might be better to play the hole as if you didn't have the watch as well. So when you get to your drive, don't look at what the watch says, have a guess using any on course markers, play a shot, then replace your ball and have a look at the watch and see if you change your mind on what shot you should play.

That was hilarious. "There's no evidence the brick was used in any crime" "I see they haven't found the body yet". Actually laughed out loud.

I would say you actually get there ahead of the ball. That should be an incomplete pass and a pass interference flag. So the end result is actually slightly better for you, but you're correct, there's no way that player can make that catch.

So if holding it too much in the right fist causes a hook, could my slice be caused by holding my club too much in the fingers of my right hand?

Noticed on the videos your shoulders are about 15 degrees open compared to your hips at setup. Is this a conscious 'aim left' that you do, or just the way your body lines up? I struggle with pushing the ball. Would opening up my shoulders to target help that?

It sounds so simple to say, but so right. Watch any tour pro in detail and you won't believe how little they do in their backswing. Simple lesson but so hard to rewire your brain to accept that you don't have to do much at all to hit a long, straight shot.

Romney's right. If you tax corporations, all you're doing is shifting the decision of who pays the tax away from the government and onto a company board. It's a cowards tax increase, because you are saying "I'm going to tax your company $1million. But you get to decide who pays". It's always people who pay, through lower wages, higher cost of goods, or lower dividends. You can't tax a corporation without making some people pay more.

Interviewer completely misses the point about private charity. I don't think he understands that's it not a question of individuals or government. He seems to think that if I'm wealthy enough to want to support myself, I'm selfish. In fact, chances are I'd donate to charities that are set-up to provide for the uninsured. All those compassionate socialists, instead of spending somebody elses money, can donate their own money to these charities. And they'd have a lot more to donate without medicare

Easy answer is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Suppose for a moment you had some kind of disaster in life and ended up with nothing. No money, no job. Then assume that despite your best efforts, you are unable for a month or two to get another job.How would you live? Now I suppose the ultimate laissez-faire answer is charities-if people feel strongly about providing for the poor then they will donate their untaxed money freely.

Good tutorial. I only wish the Konami designers hadn't made it so your in game penalties and practice penalties are from this angle, but in a penalty shootout it goes to the 'classic' behind the player camera. It just cost me a shootout because I took two penalties getting the hang of how the hell it actually shoots.

The point at 5:18 is an excellent one and actually it's all about passing the buck. Government chooses to tax business. That then means that it's on the business to choose who will be paying the cost, the stockholders, the employees or the customers. When governments raise taxes on business, it is a way of shifting the blame of higher prices away from government and onto companies.
