Jia-Yi He plays Vivaldi Violin Concerto on harmonica with string quartet (Violin: Anne Ku and Hye Jin Koh, Viola: Carrie Robinson, Cello: Valeriya Sholokhova) at his recital in Manhattan, New York on October 19, 2008.
Jia-Yi He, a world-class harmonica virtuoso, has received numerous awards in international festivals and competitions in England, Germany, Israel, Japan and United States. He has served as a member of the judging committees in the Asia-Pacific Harmonica Competition in Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Hangzhou. Mr. He has appeared as a soloist with the China National Symphony Orchestra, China National Ballet Symphonic Orchestra and the Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared at many television stations including ABC-news, News 12 Long Island, Queens Public Television and Sino Television in the United States. Mr. He has recorded harmonica music for a number of movies, radio stations and CDs. He was invited to perform at the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations. The New York Mets have chosen him to perform a pre-game show at Shea Stadium. Recently, Mr. He gave a recital at Royal College of Music in London and performed with Cambridge University Chinese Orchestra Society in UK. He has a concerts tour in 6 cities in India, include performed with Calcutta Chamber Orchestra in harmonica concert in Calcutta. Currently, Mr. He is a harmonica teacher at the Turtle Bay Music School in New York City.

I just took a subscription to your channel, because your harmonicaplaying is just amazing, I enjoyed your playing very much, I play the chromatic Harmonica myself, brands: Hohner and Suzuki, The Suzuki's are my favorites, I play the Suzuki SC-64 professional Model and I have ordered a Suzuki SC-56 professional Model.

I am a 14-year-boy from HK who know and like to play harmonica too. I like Jia Yi He. Although I just know him fo a few minutes, I like his style and the song he chooses. For example, Bach's and Vivaldi's music which I like very much. Moreover Jia Yi He has good technique too. I know it because he plays czarders and flight of bumble bee.
