Yehezkel Hanan Bordaty, Israel Haim Bordaty and Yoshua Itai Bordaty were abducted on March 20, 2007, by Smadar Hameiry, their non-custodial mother, and taken to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Smadar Hameiry has not allowed the children to communicate with their father. So far, Brazil has refused to return the abducted children, in direct violation to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction.
