My name is Mike and I used to be in a rap group called GID (sort of still am). GID Productions is a kind of a spin off made from GID to show my production side.

This is an upcoming underground production mostly focusing on dark underground street type beats. Please do not ask for free beats becuase there are free downloads for almost all beats, however free downloads are to be used for non-profit uses only or else legal actions will be taken and royalties will be collected.
Royalty payments can be avoided by simply buying a license for the beat.

The aim of GID Productions is to provide royalty free underground type instrumentals for upcoming artists at an affordable price. The purchasing methods is as follows:

LEASING RIGHTS.......$50
You will receive an encoded MP3 file of the untagged song, and/or a copy of the raw WAV file. The song file will be delivered digitally through email. Leasing rights allow you to use the beat (or song) for ONE commercial recording or broadcast. This recording can then be distributed at your price for up to 2,000 copies. Selling more than 2,000 copies means you must acquire a new lease or exclusive rights. You may also use the beat for non-profit use. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat/song in any shape, way, or form (except reselling the beat). In the event that someone buys exclusive rights to the beat you have leased, your rights shall stand and the beat is still yours to use. You may also acquire new leasing rights if you sell more than 2,000 copies since your contract predates exclusive sale. You must give full credit to the seller (artist and/or producer name) on all commercial recordings. Upon purchasing leasing rights, the seller still owns the beat(s) and the seller is able to resell the beat(s) to any other party until exclusive rights have been purchased.

Basically GID Productions still owns the beat and someone else can buy it at anytime, and there is a limit to the number of copies you can sell.

EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS........$250
You will receive a MP3 file of the beat (or song), untagged (free of soundmarks) and/or a copy of the raw WAV file. The song file can be delivered digitally through email. Exclusive rights grant you unlimited commercial recordings and broadcasts. You have full rights to record, alter, mix the beat/song in any shape, way, or form (except reselling the beat). You own the recording as a "work made for hire". The original seller may no longer lease or sell the beat/song, except for prior leasing rights holders and his/her own promotional page (no downloads there). You must give full credit to the seller (artist and/or producer name) on all commercial recordings.

Basically, the beat is yours to do whatever you want with it (except selling it to someone else), and no one else can buy it after that.

CUSTOM BEATS........$300
Custom beats are available only as exclusive rights and the contract is the same as the one for exclusive rights. For custom beats to be done, you have to know exactly what you want and how you want it done.
