I read a lot. Most people don't understand that statement, and so underestimate me, but books are the life blood of my existence. As a result I like many authors. To name a few: Kurt Vonnegut Jr, Daniel Quinn, John Steinbeck, Clifford D. Simak, Philip K. Dick, C.M. Kornbluth, Michael Cunningham, Stephen Baxter, Arthur C. Clarke, Robert A. Heinlein, Derrick Jensen, Aldous Huxley, Alan Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Joanna Russ, Hunter S. Thompson, Frederick Pohl, Gregory Benford, Neil Gaiman, and lots of others. I also admire classic science fiction because I think it includes some of the best ideas and philosophy of 20th century literature.
