As she trembles at times to share her story transparently will you come to see clearly that even a mother in prison, shackled by her worst enemy, is her children's entire world?
This is a narrative journey through the battles of this woman's life that include, being kidnapped in her young years, being sexually and emotionally abused and devalued in catastrophic ways. As you read this I invite you to decide for yourself if the writings and the inspiration of this book was God or simply the words coming from a woman of abuse? Was it the weight of having her first child raising questions about her past, or was it by design from an all wise Creator, carefully placing her where she needed to be to grow in her calling? Was it a coincidence that while she was making room for a crib and dresser for her new arrival that she found the contents of poems and letters she had written as a broken hearted teenager? Was it by design that family and childhood pictures and many other things from her past were found in a crumpled damaged box? When she was flooded with emotion because of what she was reflecting on was it the words of her Creator patiently pointing at each content saying, "Ellen this is where you began and so it is here where we begin. Are you ready? Or were they words of a woman rummaging through painful events that needed to believe that Jesus was kneeling beside her and that He would make sense of it all? As you read of the difficult circumstances of her life can you find some meaning and reasons within your own? Most my videos are created like one would create a scrapbook. Images that blend in with family videos and cutting and pasting of family & friends pictures. Putting different borders around different pictures and coloring in my hearts expressions. Reading the subject of the videos would be crucial to understand the meaning and the heart behind each video so I suggest that you do. It will make for a better experience. Much of what is here is between God and I and not all wil be explained because it is a personal expression between God and I. Certianly you will walk away knowing more then you even wanted to know about me
When you encounter a piece of art - be it a painting, a novel, song and yes even a youtube video ... consider the art as a reflection of the artist. What period of the artist's life did the piece come from? What effect did their state of mind, his health, or his relationships have on it? How does it fit into the fuller body of their work. Consider the art of reflection of the times in which it was created. How can one seperate a Charles Dickens novel from the times in which it was played out in the authors mind. Here in the midst of all my expressions is technical mastery of great God, intellectual riches, even said there is more riches to be had dissecting my sentences than sitting back and absorbing the song, pictures and video. Even for casual observers there is a message I am inentionally sending. What better place to be then getting to know others and their hearts.
My hope is that in my expressions that you will come to know yourself better. Glean off my story and help you to see your story in my expressions. In Jesus Name I pray that you grow in and learn that love is the only thing that you can't have too much of or give too much of! So God .. help us to empty our pockets! Let it spill over and pour out! Spend it all! AMEN
