:D Thanks a lot for saying some truth. People seem to forgot that we might never know about the whole composition of the brain. It's not that easy, and no one truly knows a full answer about every aspect or process that goes through it.

Thanks again for your help! I was clueless about Med School until you told me what I needed! I'm holding a 3.6 GPA at the moment, and tend to make it atleast a 3.8 GPA (if it's possible).

In regards to what it's like. It's in Miami so the weather is great, I have some family members here, which is the reason for my application to that area to begin with rather than staying in Canada, and the system is very similar between Canada and the US. After 2 yrs of general sciences (which are courses like anatomy, histology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, neurology, biochemistry, etc) you do clinical rotations. I am personally doing a 6 week rotation in Toronto and the rest mostly close to Miami or in Miami, but you have a choice of where to do your rotations for those last 2 yrs. After that and assuming you pass your first 2 of 3 steps of board certification you apply and go into a residency in which you stay 3-5 yrs usually.

Med school admissions don't care much about race, and I wouldn't have an advantage there even if they did.

Since you are graduating from UBC which along with UofT and McGill are known for harder to earn grades, I would place my focus on getting a good GPA first. You need around a 3.7+ gpa on a 4 scale for med schools, and a 30+ MCAT. You will have no problem with the MCAT if you can get the gpa so I wouldn't worry too much. Write the MCAT after your 2nd year in undergrad.

If you are wondering about my personal scores, I had a 3.75gpa at UofT and an MCAT of 36.

Hi there. I cannot remember where I made the comment. But yeah I have heard that Englands most famous scientist Isaac Newton was thought to have Asperger Syndrome. I wish there was more support and understanding of the syndrome and other people weren't so ignorant. I think it is other peoples ignorance that causes the problems. As for Adolf Hitler perhaps its best to keep quiet about that one! :-)
