I'm 22 years old, living in Hungary and a university student (Faculty of Arts). Recently I bought a digital piano (a MIDI keyboard) and started composing songs. I'm highly interested in aspiring/amateur singers, I like to listening to cover songs. Maybe when I will have enough courage to show my songs, I could find someone to sing them :)

But anyway, here are my tips regarding cover songs/videos:
- Be unique, express yourself! Have your own style! If everybody would be the same, it could be a very boring world! :)
- Don't try to copy the original singer, producing exactly the same voice. If someone wants to hear the same, (s)he definitly will listening to the original and not you.
- Feel free to change on the lyrics, intonation, ryhtm a bit if you want. Why not, music is a creative thing, isn't it?
- Cover a popular song in your style. I mean if you are a singer with a guitar or piano, try to cover the latest "disco" (electro/house/dance/trance etc) hit. It can be an instant success!
- Have the motion and energy in you voice. Don't be flat, because the listener will be bored. Play with your voice.
- Pay attention to that your singing is louder or at least has the same volume as your instrument.
- Smiling is obligatory, unless you are covering a sad song!
- And the most important: Let us see that you enjoy what you are doing, so we can join! :)
