WHY DO WE BELIEVE ATHEISM AS THE TRUE PATH?

First of all as atheists we don't believe it's a "path", calling it like that makes it seem like we expect to get somewhere by being Atheists, like Christians wanting to get into heaven. Human Systems have emerged in which members of the system are given unverifiable promises of future supernatural benefits in return for the support and propagation of the subsuming system.Religious system is the only human system that has this absurd property. Faith is to accept this promise against an exploding body of evidence and thought that the Promise, and all of its supernatural aspects, is at least false, often a lie and wholly unsupported by any evidence.

There is no considerable evidence for any of the supernatural phenomena. but we have the reason to believe universe was created just over 14 billion years ago and that everything emerged from that moment according to laws created at that moment. There is no reason available for us to suggest that this universe was created factors that is attributed to "GOD". There are of course, huge compelling reasons that explain why we want to believe in a god and a soul. These reasons can be grouped into Metaphysical and Socio-political.

Religion is not for us and we do not take "Our lord did it" as a sufficing explanation to anything we earn by our hard work. We think religion as an absolutely foolish and stops mankind from going forward by giving rules with no benefits to man and dividing us.
As some smart person once said - I reckon we're both Atheists, except I go one religion further. When you realize why you reject all other religions except your own, you will understand why I reject yours.

At last a better question would be why do you think religion is the right path? There are so many religions out there, each claiming it is the right path and some even condemn other religions.

As liberals we are not afraid to explore and implement new and different ideas even those that may seem strange and unacceptable to the majority. Being a liberal is promoting maximum individual freedom as well as being open minded and tolerant.

ABORTION: The decision to have an offspring is a personal choice of a woman regarding her own body and the government should stay out of it. Women should be guaranteed the right to a safe and legal abortion, including partial birth abortion & free or low-cost contraception.

HOMOSEXUALITY: Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. Research suggests that the homosexual orientation is in place very early in the life cycle, possibly even before birth. Marriage should be legal for gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender couples to ensure equal rights for all. All individuals, regardless of their sex, have the right to marry.

Separation of CHURCH & STATE: Support the removal of all references to God in public and government spaces. Religion should not interfere with government.God should not have any place in government and bureaucracy.

HEALTH CARE: Millions of people who can't afford health insurance. No one should be deprived from basic healthcare. Health care is an equal right of all people, the implement
