MY STYLE OF VIDEOS:
I have a unique style I like to portray in my videos which is the utilization of long, still shots of each scene that slowly fade into the next. I strongly believe that even the simplest of compositions need to be shot with enough time for the viewer to immerse themselves in the scene: the gentle falling of autumn leaves in the breeze. The golden bubbles in the sand reflecting as waves retract back into the sea. The clouds slowly passing over a distant, tree-covered mountain. Especially in an age of 'High Definition', I feel that the beauty in life truly is found in the little things - which is a belief that I take with me beyond the art and into my day-to-day life.
UPDATE Dec '11:
Last year I left my career in Corporate America, invested in pro camera gear, and moved to Sydney, Australia to pursue my dreams & passions in the land down under. It was a big risk - giving up a successful career in a down economy - but eventually it paid off: I got my dream job. Since September '10 I've traveled from Australia to Fiji, and all throughout Europe. It's been a whirlwind ride and just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the locations I plan to explore - and more importantly, share with YOU!
