today's upload was the last. I am discontinuing my channel.
EMI puts their claim on every other video I'm trying to share. They either block it at the stage of upload or make it unavailable for viewing anywhere except North America and Japan, deeming some of you "more privileged" and others "less". Those of you who live in the US or Canada might not even be aware of this situation.
Sometimes EMI claim content that's not even theirs, and then refuse to acknowledge the mistake.
Sometimes they claim rights that have expired years ago.
Copyright dispute claims get rejected without any explanation.
"Fair use" argument doesn't work with EMI, either.
In this situation, I don't see the point of keeping it up.
If you are as disgusted by EMI policy as I am, please spread the word.

Thank you for uploading some "different" clips from Joseph Schmidt's films - by which I mean those that aren't so frequently uploaded. I don't know quite why it pleases me so much, because I've got all the films on DVD, but it does! Ditto "Ki lechach....." together with its magnificent and fascinating collage of articles - a labour of love.
