American Pit Bull Poem

Look me in my eyes but don't show signs of fear

Call me with a whistle that's how i know your here

Walk me with conviction and hold your head up high

Because for you and only you, you know that i will die

If you feed me when I'm hungry and rub my head and chest

I will protect you to the end with my last dieing breath

People call me vicious and say that I'm no good

But a heart of a true pit bull is something they never understood

I use to fight for you and you knew i never quit

I never understood why you threw me in that pit

It's time for you to take a stand and speak in my stead

Because a pit without its owner might as well be dead

Loyalty to our owner was our only goal in mind

Our stories told through history in books and over time

The "PIT" is our domain where we matched in dirt and mud

And whence the chain came of our necks our breed was forged in blood

When we crossed that line a cur you will not see

Because a dog that turns its tail is dog that will not be

This was our way of life this was also our creed

Without the game in us you have lost the entire breed

BSL is out of Control - I have always been an animal lover and I do love all breeds. The American Pit Bull has gotten some dirty raps and being that I am an owner of one beautiful American Staffordshire Pit Bull named Kobe, I dedicated this channel to him for I know all to well the fight that is going on out there for them. I first hand have encounter the cruelty and ignorance from others towards the Pits and whom do not take the time to learn about them nor have knowledge at all about the many facets of this beautiful breed. This is why I started this channel, it was my heart speaking and my tears falling.

Although there are many others advocating it is the message and strength in numbers that audiences will remember. When you have a powerful grouping either locally and/or nationwide that understand our purpose and especially those whom share great stories and promote good ability of the breed Pit Bull and Bully's to which are responsible owners and breeders! This is where the growth of understanding begin to take surface against numbers of negative individuals. People make bad dogs not the dogs themselves. Irresponsible owners and or breeders that do not promote good care and instructions besides media and other agencies have made the breed look uncontrollable.

I will continue to do all I can and more to support them and support others channels and this cause.

Another scope is that other breeds are getting BSL side swiped or discriminated against for just being what they are. So think about your pet and know this they too are not immune from the controversy it's just a matter of time.

WE CAN HELP CHANGE THIS! PLEASE DO YOUR PART. In this world we all are animal lovers does not matter if its a dog, cat, horse, spiders, or even exotic animals just know that any one can be targeted and or banned by bullshit and idiotic groups and unworthy people whom think they have some recourse to do so!
