I make stop-motion videos. Or rather, I made stop-motion videos. Not so much anymore. I haven't retired or anything, but I don't really have as much of a chance to make them lately. Anyway.

#1: Q: What software do you use?
A: I use MonkeyJam (free, downloadable) to film and Sony Vegas 10 (not free, disc version) to edit.
#2: Q: Where do you get all your Lego(R) brand building products?
A: I used to collect them in my youth, but now I use them to make the movies you see here. I still buy a set now and then, mostly from bricklink.com (a great place to find specific pieces and sets).
#3: Q: How many frames per second do you use? A: 15 fps. Not the best, not the worst.
#4: Q: How do you get the banners at the top of your page and on videos?
A: YouTube invited me to be a YouTube partner. To apply, go to youtube.com/partners and read the instructions there.
#5: Q: Will you advertise for my channel/site/videos/contest on your page?
A: No.
#6: Q: Will you sell/give me your Lego(R) brand building products?
A: You've got to be kidding!
#7: Q: Do you have sound effects I can use?
A: Yes! Just go to tinyurl.com/5gjnnn and download them.
#8: Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: A Panasonic 3CCD digital palmcorder; it's pretty pricey.
#9: Q: How do you do those effects?
A: In most cases, spugesdu has kindly volunteered to do effects for me. I believe he used Particle Illusion.
#10: Q: Will you watch/rate/comment/friend/subs
A: No.
#11: Q: Can I make movies (or fiction, fine artwork, interpretive dance, etc.) based on your ideas?
A: I'd prefer that you run it by me first. Generally it's ok as long as you give full attribution and don't try to pretend that you invented Carl J. Gleaves, Jr. or anything.
