My Biggest Beef: The False Doctrine of the So-Called (Pre-Tribulation Rapture Scenario)
Nowhere is this Scenario declared in the Scriptures nor is it even Alluded to in any way. Yet there are the masses of Christians being taught this every week in Church and believe this Scenario to be Scriptural. They use Scriptures out of Context in order to justify this False Doctrine.
Yes, The Left behind Series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins got it Wrong; Yes Tom Ice does not know what he is talking about: they often miss quote the Scriptures.
And if you know the Scriptures well enough, you will catch them at it.
The Scriptures which have been most commonly taken out of Context to support this False Doctrine do not have any bearing on the So-Called Pre Tribulation Rapture. They teach that Christ will return, then the Rapture (part 1), then the So-Called Seven Year Tribulation, then after that, the Rapture (part 2).
Yet they notoriously quote such Scriptures as, 1 Thessalonians 4, 2 Thessalonians 2: 1- 4, 1 Corinthians 15: 51, 52, Revelation 3: 10; They keep their justifications bound in twisted, tangled, knotted webs of reasoning that require long periods of contemplation to unravel the full deception.
But there is no justification for Pre-Tribulation Rapture Scenario. It simply says nothing about the Church being raptured before the Tribulation; it is simply False Doctrine.
So whats the truth you say?
Jesus tells us of nine events which must occur...
Immediately after the tribulation of those days...
1. ...Shall the Sun be darkened,
2. ...And the Moon shall not give her light,
3. ...And the Stars shall fall from Heaven,
4. ...And the powers of the Heavens shall be shaken:
5. ...And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in Heaven:
6. ...And then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn,
7. ...And they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory.
8. ...And he shall send his Angels with a great sound of a Trumpet,
9. ...And they shall gather together his Elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other.
Matthew 24: 29 31
Pre-Tribulationists will tell you of... the So-Called Seven Periods of the Church Age, and how each of the Churches is symbolic of the different attitudes and idealisms of the Church throughout it's history.
(Its a Straw Argument; there is no precedence for this teaching)
Pre-Tribulationists will tell you that... there is no Chronological Order to these events: this is true being that there is no Chronology given.
(This also is a Straw Argument; there is no precedence for this teaching either)
They teach of a So-Called Seven Year Tribulation; yet go back to Daniel 9: 27 and he tells us of a 7 year Covenant and in the "Midst" or Middle of the Week, He shall cause the Sacrifice and Oblation to cease: that is when the Tribulation begins.
- 15. When ye therefore shall see the Abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Skip to- v. 21. For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
(Matthew 27: 15 and 21.)
Here Jesus explains to us that causing the Sacrifice and the Oblation to cease is the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet (Daniel 9: 27) which will trigger the Tribulation of those days.
So everything the Pre-Tribulationists teach from the Glorious coming of Christ to the Rapture of his Elect, is to occur Immediately after the tribulation of those days. Not before.
To teach that any thing will occur before the Tribulation in order to save anyone from it is to add to the book of Prophecy
(Revelation 22: 18, 19)
Pre-Tribulation Rapture Scenario is nothing more than a Comfort Zone for people too timid to face the Truth that we are all going through the Tribulation together, Saint and sinner alike. There is no one more privileged than anyone else; we are all beggars before God.
Jesus gives us the parable of the wheat and the tares, how The servants said unto their Master, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
(Matthew 13: 24 - 30)

I like your plain speaking:'I am no citizen of the world."
You and I both,friend.
Don't let the bastards get you down.
Solidarity,Brother.
thats because any resemblance to a legitimate question or contribution was destroyed by utter nonsense, supportive or critical.
I'd like to find something, but it seems my time has been cut short.
Maybe I'll find what you want in due time, if it's not there, well, me myself, I'll just stick with the Most High's word.
