I'm a citizen agitator/propagandist who blogs, writes articles, participates in the Authority Smashing! Hour radio collective, and make videos here on Youtube concerning issues of domination and oppression, critiquing hegemony in all its forms, i.e., capitalism, the nation-state, heteronormativity, ageism, environmental destruction, ableism, culture, liberal revisionism, the tyranny of prison and the police, etc. etc. etc.
I identify with the anarchist principles of non-hierarchical social relations, cooperation, mutual aid, social revolution, communal and personal freedom, and a world free of authoritarian socioeconomic relations.
I think we have a great deal to learn from stateless societies, whether pre-stateless, or post-stateless; both still exist. Anarchy exists in real time, so it's not as if we who favor this state and social theory are working on a leap of faith. History shows empirically, time and time again, that human beings do not need formal governments or oppressive economic models to find harmony and survive.
Hence, I perceive that these stateless societies' economic relations, which center/centered around the idea of generosity, are the ideal, i.e., gift economies.
I specifically identify with anarcho-communist principles, which extends the traditional communist mantra to "To each according to her abilities and desires, to each her needs and passions."
