I was in the met for several years, and it provided me with some interesting experiences, there are high points and low points to the job, as i guess you would know already, it really is a way of life more than a job. I am now currently studying to become a paramedic. It certainly is a rewarding career, well all emergency services are, most people will never realise the reality of life out there. Just remember to use your best judgement, always be weary of orders even from superiours, as much as you can, stick to your gut feelings as well and i wish you the best of luck :)
