Retro Gaming / Science Fiction Multimedia

I enjoy science fiction shows. I love Metroidvania games which provide lots of power ups and exploration of maps. I also enjoy Final Fantasy and would rate it in my top ten games. As a gamer, I honestly prefer the older generation games on say a NES, SNES, Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, or whatever other system that is not the current generation trend. I do however have to counter that statement and say that I do have a Wii which I do download and play old games on. Why do I have a Wii? Well that is simply because Nintendo rocks in terms of quality and well I have not had my Wii crash unlike some other systems. Plus, I still play newer games, but I just enjoy the older games due to the lack of complex puzzles which seem to sap the fun out of your playing experience. I am a big 80's otaku when it comes to hand drawn cell animation from the 80's. I enjoy most of the older pre-90's Gundam series or anything to do with big giant mecha. I think that my personal favorite anime outside of Gundam would be Hokuto No Ken. I enjoy any person who has a good sense of humor and can make at least one good geeky reference. I will end this by saying that I think that everyone needs to have a sense of levity and not take life too seriously.
