I strongly believe that the Original people will see justice in my lifetime.But the Original people must stand up & tell the TRUTH if we are to see that JUSTICE & not submit to the lies & expediency.
The mountain in the picture above is Biamanga National Park. Its was taken back by the Traditional Owners along with Gulaga NP a few years ago.There is a Traditional Owner majority on the board of management for the NP's but they dont really have much power.Rent is paid from the government for the use of the mountain's for National Parks but they pay the money back to themselves (the government).Any decisions the management board make can be vetoed by the regional NSW DECC manager (one non Indigenous person).The funds cant be used for community development employment/training etc, only for the management of the park where 90% + of the workers are non Indigenous.Whilst we have 90% + "Original" unemployment & we have two National Parks that give us cashflows that cant be used to help our people. This is so frustrating & wrong.
Anyway, we are the people of the Black Duck - Umbara. And our creator is Darama. All our Yuin lores & governance structures derive from our creator Darama who is creator of all life under the spiritual beliefs of the Yuin people.
Like elsewhere in Australia there is an overwhelming destruction of our cultural heritage & ongoing disrespect for our culture.
Hopefully by bringing the plight of our people to the attention of the international community there may eventually be change. If things dont change for the better then our people along with our cultural heritage will be on the brink of extinction. But we will continue to fight hard as we cannot allow that to happen.But it's not a fair fight as they have all our resources & have made themselves very powerful from that.However we have something that is also powerful - THE TRUTH.

Casting our Queen is the biggest fraud in our country as she sits on her backside collecting millions of dollars in revenue every week while our country is in huge debt.
