About Me:
 
Hey everybody! My name is Corey Golden and I am a pop/rock singer/songwriter. For the past 6 years, I have been working diligently towards my career goal of becoming a singer-songwriter. I had spent the past two summers performing at venues such as Six Flags in California, training with multiple voice and guitar coaches for many hours weekly, as well as writing with many talented musicians including Alex Bodner (current guitarist for Creed). I was also fortunate enough to have one single, "Reflection," released on iTunes for the entire world to listen to, purchase, and criticize. But the pursuits of landing a recording contract and finding opportunities to perform have been great challenges with many dead-end streets and false promises. Finally last august, I was fortunate enough to meet Greg Archilla--a producer known for having success of SafetySuit, Matchbox 20, and Collective Soul--who saw a place for my sound in the music industry. Greg was able to put me with the right team in order to help launch my career. Our aim is to create a new sound, which I would say is a mix between Sheryl Crow and Taylor Swift. We have finished recording an EP of 5 songs at Quad Studios in Nashville, and hopefully you will be able to hear some of my new music at one of my shows this summer!
