I'm the founder of Botl, the online "message in a bottle" social network.
On Botl, users create and share botls -- digital "bottled messages" -- containing images, GIFs, music, sound effects, video and text. And then they see when and where their botls are opened and how far their botls travel.

Botl is currently a web application, meaning you need to use a laptop or desktop computer to use all of its functions. We have basic mobile apps for iPhone and Android smartphones that will let you enjoy opening botls, and we're working as fast as we can on making all of Botl's features available on the mobile apps.
