A big thank you to my Twitter followers for helping me compile this list. I appreciate all the support from you guys, thanks!
Current problems:
- Ghost's tier and its preveliance within Black Ops.
- Killstreaks (Specifically CG and Gunship being shot down instantly)
- RC Cars vs Flak Jacket
- Connection (Sniping specifically) + Lag compensation
- AK74u with Rapid Fire
- Slow paced? Perhaps impliment a camping timer as seen in CS:S servers.
- Knife, while improvements have been seen from MW2. Lunges are still present and panic knifing is ruining the flow of a fast pace in combination with camping.
- Being punished for having bad teammates.
- Second Chance, revive feature. Appreciate the nerf but a revive feature does not belong in a twitch shooter. Another point is that the player can have another few miliseconds with their primary while dropping into Second Chance.
For future titles to take into consideration:
- Formula becoming a bit stale.
- Consider and trial perk tiers. BETA is a mandatory for a successful game in my opinion (See IW w/ CoD4)
- Dedicated servers. We've been begging for it for over 3 years now.
- Same level if not more of community support as shown by Treyarch.
- Hire some professional gamers for testing. Not saying YouTube commentators as we are just normal gamers. Perhaps people like EnvyUs and FeaR or other teams from the MLG Circuit.
- Cheaper map packs. This is probably on Activision
's behalf but we all want it.
- More weapons! It gets boring after a while.
- Map creator.
- CoD4-esqe sniping style.
- Make the game hard and make it so that you can progessively get better at it. With Black Ops, I find I cannot improve. I'm at a peak level where I'll either do extremely good or bad.
- Double XP more often!
- This is my own thought but I think a return to a smaller selection or pre-selected variation of killstreaks would eliminate camping. Let's say 3,5,7 with 2-3 options being available for each 3,5,7 killstreak.
- Gun pack?
- Ping as a number, not bar. See CoD2 for reference.
- New gametypes. Please bring back War!
