About Me:
Before posting a condemnation of lucid dreaming, subliminal technologies, or meditation, please consider the following:
1. A lucid dream is simply a dream in which you realize you're dreaming. The Bible never even suggests it is evil to see something for what it really is.
2. Subliminal messages are like recording positive statements, then playing that recording in the other room.
3. Meditation is like physical therapy. It is the practice of focusing the attention and observing what really is, with less of our mental filters in the way to cloud our vision. Just as the Bible doesn't talk about physical therapy, it doesn't talk about meditation (the words translated "meditation" in the Bible are speaking of contemplation and "dwelling upon" something).
If you have found something in the Bible which clearly condemns knowing when you're dreaming, playing Biblical talking in the other room, or relaxing while focusing on breathing deeply, feel free to send me a private message. We all have blind spots and need one another. But make it private. I've spent so much time responding to vicious public attacks by people who don't even know what they're attacking, that I've started just deleting them most of the time. It's the nature of the mind to make a problem out of everything, so attacks don't upset me, but they do create a strife-filled environment. And "they will know you are Christians by your love."
There are VERY few problems we each actually need to fix, and most of them are inside ourselves. The rest of them are false enemies we create in our heads, or things that we weren't called to fix.
Peace, love, and blessings. :o)
