Raising a child is an awesome and wonderful experience. I think nothing so fine-tunes us as adults as being faced with the blank slate. I do my best to not fill my son with any assertions that may later prove to be false. In other words, I am quiet in the realm of guiding him in the areas that many feel is imperative. I treat him as I would want to be handled, at all times. Zero candy, no soft drinks, vaccinations or toys that run on batteries. So far he's turned out to be really cool.
