About Me:
This poem is for a friend I know.
...................Peace Girl....................
Staring out of the window
into the vastness of the deep black,
she wishes upon a shooting star,
wishing her parents could come back.
And she wishes 'n wishes upon three more,
wishing her mum's demons are no longer,
and that she finds peace in Heaven,
and if only she'd said yes when younger.
Peace loving girl wipes away her tears,
and moves on sharing past memories,
I know she's sad and heartbroken,
her mum died tragically, her dad recently.
But that's just the way things go,
times flyin' and times are changin',
and now in front of a computer screen
she finds some comfort at last.
Now we read her words of wisdom,
riddles of peace, love and freedom,
tickling those who believe in such things,
I suppose Peace Train comforts some.
But that's ok, we all believe in something,
without love where would we all be?
in a world struggling to stay afloat,
peacekeepers and greenies we need.
Born in America with Scottish genes,
this fuels her passion and courage thrives,
her ancestors wore her clans tartans proud,
some moved to America to live out their lives.
But all in all I find her interesting,
her words are like a crochet blanket,
loose lingo twisted in pattern form,
capturing those like a fisherman's net.
Like hillybilly & Midwestern drawl, ok!
thank God we have urban dictionary,
vines and wines 'n all words that rhyme,
Poets unite; hats off to you Jillychilejelly.

Ihave always prided myself in being 100% honest on here...never lied to anyone about anything (except once, and that was to get rid of a certain person who was breaking my fucking heart who was also a born liar and user of people.) Ah well, back to the tapping of keys and where reality is in check despite often times being fiction...lol. XXX
