hi approtechie, I would appreciate if you would add me to the list of those requesting/needing the Linear ram pump. I have a creek that flows lightly by end of summer and floods periodically during the winter. This pump would be a brilliant solution. Thanks. john

Do you think it is possible to build a .5 hp Stirling Engine that is very low maintenance for under $100.00 when produced in mass quantity?
approtechie (1 week ago)
@Zionsoon7 I've posted answers to many questions in the comments on my engines and if you take the time to read through them you will find out about anything you might want to know. Plans are still a ways off since I'm still working the bugs out of this engine.

Hoping you will post plans for your engine soon. At least could you tell us about your piston and displacer?

@ho33es No, I don't think this engine would drive a go-kart. It only puts out about 10 watts of shaft power.

hi, loving your stuff, and i had a question regarding the power of the stirling engine. Do you think it would have enough power to run a small gokart, be it child or adult size?

I have really enjoyed looking at your wood-frame stirling engines in detail on YT & seeing the improvements
you have may as you go along. In particular the one that is easy to take apart is one I am going to try
to build. In a way the wood-frame engines seem easier to build than the soda can engines. Congradulations &
thanks so much!

My friend, I have seen a lot of Stirling engines built by a lot of people, and I have come to the conclusion that you are a builder who really knows what he's doing. You have definitely got the knack for these engines.
