Debunking the Bible and other religious superstitions ======================================== There's really nothing I enjoy more than dispelling people's belief in anything supernatural. I've often wondered how long it may take to rid our planet of ancient superstitions. At the risk of sounding prophetic and negating my primary purpose, the allegorical story of the mythical Jesus portrays the end of His reign around the year 2150. Luke 22:10 NIV: Jesus replied, 'As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters.' The man carrying a jar of water represents the Age of Aquarius, year 2150-4300 AD. Despite being ahead of the time, this is the reason I chose Aquarius, the water bearer, as my channel icon. To me, Aquarius doesn't represent an alternative god. It represents the end of human beliefs in all supernatural gods. Please don't misconstrue my representation of Aquarius as an endorsement for astrology. Similarly, I'm not naive enough to believe in the prophetic powers of a mythical Jesus, but I'm familiar with the biblical stories and their astrological references. If we really want to understand religion, we need to understand its origins and evolution. Hopefully we can extinguish Christianity and all religious myths even sooner than Jesus predicted in the Bible. ======================================== How many Christians are aware of this allegorical prophecy? Are they too busy reading the first two chapters of Genesis, attempting to disprove Darwin's Theory of Evolution? It's probably worth noting; we haven't always been the dominant species on this planet. It's hard to imagine the dominant species of the future retaining such a primitive belief in the supernatural. Will religious extinction be a small step or a giant leap in the evolution of life? Have you ever considered the possibility of humans evolving into a new species? ========================================

Religulous, Doubt, The Naked Truth, Zeitgeist ======================================== This is my version of the story called, Left Behind. If you believe in the existence of a supernatural God and an afterlife, here's something to consider. If God does NOT exist, and all life evolved just as scientists say, imagine the human species divided and the evolution of life continuing. Imagine all the atheistic people, such as Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking, being separated from all the religious people, such as Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. Let's look at an example of how that could happen in the future. Imagine all the atheistic people colonizing another distant planet, while all the religious people stay on earth waiting for Jesus, or whatever, to return. The atheistic group would likely evolve into a more intelligent and peaceful species concentrated on science and reality. Meanwhile, the religious group would inevitably wallow in ignorance, waiting for their Holy Savior, fighting and killing each other for religious dominance. The atheistic group might survive indefinitely, peacefully reproducing and adapting as necessary. The religious group, waiting for a mythical Messiah, would eventually perish because the earth's sun will explode someday and destroy all life in the solar system. Wouldn't you prefer your future generations survive by embracing science and reality, or would you rather they perish and become extinct while living a fantasy? Maybe it isn't such a bad idea to accept empirical scientific evidence and discard religious fairytales. Would you really wager your great-grand-children's future by perpetuating myths, lies, and non-sense? This is the real risk with Pascal's wager. Not that you should do anything out of fear, just something to think about. ======================================== How can anyone really be certain there is no God? If we assume there is a God, based upon the evidence available within the scriptures supposedly inspired by an inerrant and infallible God, we find ourselves making all sorts of crazy rationalizations for discrepancies, contradictions and absurdities. However, if we assume there is no God, then everything starts to make sense. ========================================

That's just naive. It's quite another thing to believe something that contradicts observable evidence. That's just crazy. You may be suffering from schizophrenia. ======================================== Gods are parasitic viruses created in the minds of primitive men. Gods are tools used to enslave a society. Atheism is moral and ethical, and it's the key to unlock your shackles. ======================================== The Abrahamic religions are nothing more than primitive regurgitated versions of ancient history, science, and philosophy. Just like astronomy replaced astrology, like chemistry replaced alchemy, modern science and philosophy must replace religion. ======================================== If this godless message reaches a thousand people, I'll be satisfied; I did my best. If it reaches a million people, I'll be delighted; this is an indication of progress. If by chance this godless message reaches a billion people, I'll be in ecstasy, the corrupt faith-based money train will likely be derailed. ======================================== Nobody knows the Torah, Bible, or Koran better than the unbeliever. ======================================== I suppose I'm lucky, I always knew something wasn't quite right with religion. I just regret taking so long to figure it out and articulate my thoughts on the subject. If I can borrow a line from Jack Nicholson as Colonel Nathan R. Jessep in the movie, A Few Good Men, 'You want the truth, you can't handle the truth!' Maybe you'd prefer the words of the mythical Jesus, 'The truth shall set you free.' ======================================== For some reason a lot of Christians say they're praying for me. I always tell them to quit wasting their time. Even if God is real, I've already committed the ultimate and only unforgivable sin of blasphemy. I deny the existence of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as well as Satan and all that hellish non-sense. So, I guess if you want your prayer to have a chance of being answered, just pray that Satan is a rational demon because I don't think I could take an eternity of the irrational logic I get from Christians here on earth. ======================================== For my fellow American atheists concerned with an energy crisis, I have been researching viable means of obtaining energy. The most economic and pollution-free energy source seems to be the sun. I've also been thinking outside the box and come up with an economic alternative. If we can just harness the seemingly endless and perpetual circular logic possessed by modern Christians, we could at least power every automobile in America. Just kidding, that's probably not vey ethical. ======================================== A friend on YouTube recently reminded me, 'Unfortunately, even moderate intelligence is not a prerequisite for breeding as much as possible. They make you get a license to drive a car, but they'll let any stupid piece of shit have as many babies as they can squeeze out.' And don't forget they also want to outlaw abortion, ensuring that every inbred imbecile will make it into society. ======================================== For everyone's sake, don't allow yourself to be a mindless god-damned slave. ========================================
