A Great Start - Classic Ironman - Episode 1 [XCOM Enemy Unknown]

Starting a new series is always a risk, but XCOM is a game I love to play, and allows me to be more creative and humorous in terms of commentary. The videos are post-commentated, meaning I can analyze the game to try and find moments to highlight.
I hope you guys enjoy, and would love your feedback on the series.
And no, Awesomenauts isn't going anywhere. Expect 3-4 a week.

May or may not contain aliens.
(Spoiler: contains aliens.)
The observant (or not deaf) may notice a special addition to the series I will be adding. I think it will add some humor to some otherwise tense moments.
Awesomenauts will still be continuing at the same rate as before, likely 3-4 videos a week. -

(The video may be slightly out of sync. I tried editing a video in After Effects for the first time, to try and cut down on production time, so I wasn't well adapted to After Effects. I also accidentally added a fade to the intro, making the sound awkwardly rise. The SoundCloud version doesn't have this issue. My apologies.)
Not as metal as I had anticipated, but it still turned out well. I don't like how the high-pitched squeal on some of the leads, but eh, it still sounds cool.
I wanted to capture the main riffs of Lonestar's theme, and add my own flair to it. In the end, I added a few riffs that has nothing to do with Lonestar's theme, but they still felt natural and added to the overall feel of the song.
The drums were made in Garageband, using the virtual keyboard. I'd say I'm getting better at making digital drums. I was hoping for a few more fills (eg. Skølldir's theme), but after I realized the emphasis is more or less on the guitars, I decided to leave them out.
I'm taking requests, as always! Drop a comment here, or stop by my forum post on the Awesomenauts forums: http://www.awesomenauts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&...
