'NOBODY' likes being called 'STUPID and I suppose that in general the 'ANTI THESIS' of 'STUPIDITY' can be regarded as 'INTELLIGENCE'.
But what is 'INTELLIGENCE'? There are clearly many possible, 'DEFINITIONS', some 'SCIENTIFIC' and 'TECHNICAL' and others perhaps more general expressing the term as it is understood in everyday 'LANGUAGE'.
'INTELLIGENCE' has been variously 'DEFINED' / 'DESCRIBED' as the 'CAPACITY' to 'KNOW' - 'KNOWLEDGE' 'IMPARTED' and/ or 'ACQUIRED' is often referred to as 'INTELLIGENCE'.
The term 'INTELLIGENCES' is also often used when refering to 'OTHER' 'ENTIES' or 'BEINGS', belonging to other, 'SPIRITUAL', 'HEAVENLY', 'HIGHER', or 'HYPER' - 'DIMENSIONAL' 'PLANES' of 'EXISTENCE' But is there a more 'UNIVERSALLY' 'SATISFYING' more 'ABSTRACT', description, 'DEFINNING an 'ESSENCE' , or 'OBJECTIVE VALUE' or 'MEASURE', which we can use to 'COMPREHEND', what we mean by the 'TERM', 'INTELLIGENCE' ?
Central to the 'CONCEPT' of 'INTELLIGENCE' is 'INFORMATION'. It seems that 'QUALITY' 'INFORMATION' 'PRODUCES' 'PREMIUM' 'INTELLIGENCE'. This leads us on directly to the 'INSTITUTIONS' that deal with 'INFORMATION' in terms of 'PROCESS', 'INFORMTION', most notably, 'SYSTEMS' of 'EDUCATION' and 'MEDIA' distribution.
These 'INSITUTIONS'/'ORGANISATIONS', in effect 'MEDIAte' 'OUR REALITY', and our 'ACCEPTANCE' of this 'MEDIAted' 'REFLECTED IMAGE' becomes 'TRUTH/ 'TRUE'. The importance of this 'PROCESS', cannot be overstated. Since this 'IMAGE' of the 'TRUTH/TRUE' Becomes our 'MATRIX' of 'REALITY'. Both we as 'INDIVIDUALS' and 'OUR SOCIETIES', 'PROSPER' & 'FAIL', 'ASCEND' & 'FALL', 'PROGRESS' & 'DECAY' in accordance to this 'true image'.
In short if institutions are 'VIRTUOUS' (however that may be defined) 'PEOPLES' of that 'SOCIETY' 'PROSPER'. If they are 'CORRUPTED', they produce 'SUFFERING' amongst the people.
I recently came across an intresting definition of 'INTELLIGENCE'. It 'DEFINES' 'INTELLIGENCE' as being an 'ENTITIES' 'ABILITY' to 'ORGANISE' and 'INTERPRETE' its 'SENSE' 'EXPERIENCE' 'WITHIN' a 'GIVEN' 'SYSTEM'.
I found that definition satisfying, not simply because of its 'ABSTRACTION, its, 'VASTNESS' in 'POTENTIAL' 'APPLICATION', but also because of its 'DIRECT' 'RELEVANCE' to what this 'CHANNEL' is all about... namely, the 'INDIVIDUAL'S, 'YOU/YOUR 'ABILITY' to 'ORGANIZE' and 'INTERPRETE'/ 'COMPREHEND'/ 'UNDERSTAND'/ 'KNOW' your own 'SENSE' 'EXPERIENCES' (what's happening) within this 'GLOBAL' / 'WORLD SYSTEM'. In that 'CONTEXT', I found the definition extremely apposite.
It is by no means a final definition, but I think it makes a good start in defining as an 'OBJECTIVE' 'MEASUREMENT' what 'INTELLIGENCE' is.
