I have an XStormer 1000 and like the concept of the blaster. It shoots a projectile like a Nerf gun, but you don't have to search for darts at the end of a game. The 75 ball capacity and the ability to quickly change magazines is also nice. I think that the execution of the blaster is rather lacking however. It fires more like a bow and arrow rather than a gun. This makes firing rather awkward and reduces the accuracy of the shooter. I think that the basic mechanism is good but adding a trigger and sear to the next generation of blasters would greatly increase the ease of use and fun of the toy.

The one my son has does not have the reload lever shown in all the videos? Also, it shoots very poorly - either many balls at once with poor range, or chopped up balls in a messy spray.
