7th Live Show: Katie was amazing, performance of the night. She was very brave with her new look but played a blinder, all demure and vulnerable! So pleased for her that she escaped the bottom 2 this week. Maybe the public are finally catching on to the fact that she can sing! Mary was amazing too. Completely in her comfort zone and maybe a touch Shirley Bassey Karaoke-ish but great none the less. She also looked lovely, the stylists are finally getting their act together!

7th Live Show: I thought Cher sang beautifully and it was good to see her stripped back like that and hear her voice. I also liked her softer make up, she looked much prettier. She also sang well in her survival song and she deserved to stay. One Direction were good, fun and sang well but I'm still waiting for those harmonies! Rebecca was good but a little off in places. She's still my favourite but I do think she is in danger of becoming a little boring, she needs to step it up a little.

7th Live Show: I wasn't that impressed with Matt. I didn't like the way he sang the first part until he reverted to type later on. It sounded like 2 different people singing the song! I didn't like his attitude towards Wagner either. Paije did ok but he murdered his survival song. Nice guy but I don't think they ever really found his niche but I wish him well. Wagner, oh Wagner. It's not his fault he is still in the show or that he is there in the first place and he does try but oh dear! I did think Cheryl was out of order tackling him publicly like that when she should have been judging him.

Horrified by all the amount of vitriol Katie Waissel is enduring I thought it would be a good idea to counteract some of the hate groups with a support group. My favourite to win is actually Rebecca but I do think Katie has a lovely husky bluesy voice and she absolutely does not deserve to be treated so appallingly. Katie's contribution to David Reed's 'Moving Mountains' is beautiful. She has a lovely voice and it's a shame XFactor have made her songs that really aren't her bag. Keep smiling Katie and ignore all the shit that's going on around you.
