Each spring Advanced Audio & Video Production students at Weber State University produce a video for a non-profit agency. In the spring of 2009, the project centered on the annual Everyday Heroes event sponsored by the Northern Utah American Red Cross. The job involved shooting, writing and editing six profiles of the Everyday Heroes and produce a music video in four week. One of those weeks was Spring Break. In addition to the video production one of the students, Vaden Thurgood, created an original song to encourage people to become Everyday Heroes themselves, by donating to their local American Red Cross Chapter.
