The tracks I have uploaded are from my personal collection during my days as a DJ in Southern California. Most of the tracks were purchased from some legendary Los Angeles DJ shops, namely:
Prime Cut Records (West Hollywood, CA)
Steet Sounds (West Hollywood, CA)
DMC Records (West Hollywood, CA)
Beat Non Stop (West Hollywood, CA)
Record Reaction (Long Beach, CA. closed).
The heyday of undergrounds in Los Angeles was in the late 80's to early 90's. To me that was an incredible time for techno music.
I didn't upload my entire collection, just my personal favorites from back in the day. I've also uploaded some tracks from outside the techno/house genre. Some of these tracks are fairly unknown, to say the least, to the general public.
I'd especially like to thank my good friend Mark Baker in Wolverhampton, England, for helping me put this site together and tracks up. Without his help (and the addition of his collection) none of this could have been accomplished!
Feel free to drop me a line. If any of these tracks need to be removed at the request of the artist or record label, I'd be happy to do so.

Your two Ravebusters tracks are SO Techno-ish. I almost decided to skip over Mitrax... I assumed it was the usual version everyone else had uploaded. I'm GLAD I decided not to overlook it. I hadn't heard this radically different version before. Thanks.

During the past few months, I have scoured Youtube diligently, for all the major uploaders of early Nineties Techno. Over the course of this time, your channel has gradually become my personal favorite for this specific era of Electronic Music. Some tracks have stood out more than others, but I have rarely found anything I would consider 'garbage'. Thanks for the time you have put into sharing your collection from your days as a DJ Stephan. Top tunes!!!!! I cannot believe the Xpando - Swarm EP upload! Been looking for a personal copy for 17 years! Its so damn rare! If you could I would greatly appreciate a video of the B side to that record! Awesome channel! You have a new subscriber =)

I hadn't heard this version of Umo Detic - Fahrenheit before... It's sure slow, compared to the other version. Very interesting change... Thanks for sharing it.
