Just an update on what's happening...
Either towards the end of this year (2010) or definitely next year (2011), I plan on updating the "GOP Water Altar Guide." As far as Chaos and Nature are concerned, I'll just have to wait and see.
Display if on a good computer is set to DirectX.
Manual Setup - custom
Screen Sizing - RESIZABLE, I've tried FULLSCREEN and it seems to distort things.
Brightness is up to you, I usually have that turned all the way down.
Remove roofs - always
Idle animations - many
character shadows - on
Lighting detail - low
Anti-aliasing - none or N/A
Particles - low
CPU usage - maximum,
Ground decoration - on or off
Flickering effects - off
Scenery shadows - none
Water detail - high
Fog - off
Custom cursors - off
-> brother's laptop
plays safe mode and software mode the best, or atleast good enough to play GOP in.
Safe mode does not have all the same options as DirectX or some of the higher modes, so the settings may differ alittle.
If you can only play on safe mode, I recommend having character shadows as a must.
