"Orphan Train" weaves together the stories of two lost girls--the elderly Vivian (who once went by the name Niamh), and teenager Molly, who's just about to age out of the foster care system. Although the circumstances that bring these two women together are perhaps somewhat contrived, their stories--especially Vivian's--are not. What will it take for both of these orphans to become whole again? Maybe a family that doesn't start with blood, but with a shared sense of belonging.
