Initially founded in the Fall of 2000, Ekotren are passionate young artists that strive to put out a positive life message through their freshly offered hook-laden, melody driven songs. After having the usual band member shuffle occur, the band consists now of its most potent lineup to date with guitarist Keith Finnell, Ex Twisted Method(Geffen) bassist Derek Desantis, Eric Pottle on drums, DJ/keyboardist Steve Chin and vocalist John Sheldon.

06 was a busy year for EkoTren, from playing "Warped Tour(Orlando)" to sharing stages with, Nonpoint, Skindred, Ankla, Diecast, Silent Civilian, 32 Leaves, Burn Season, Egypt Central and others. Ekotren has left its mark on the Florida circuit, and with over 30,000 friends on myspace and over 100,000 plays they have made their mark online!
