This was an Art Film that I made to go in a solo show in the Netherlands. At the time it caused so much contraversey that the show organisers had to take it down, i was consequently banned by from showing it in the Netherlands by the Deutch government. This peice deals with the nihilistic view of truth and reality, as echoed by Hal Foster, "The Loss of the Real", which was in turn expanded upon by philosopher Baudrillard , "hyperreality" and "Simulations", the simulacra. Evidently this postmodern view leads to much debate on what we deem real in society, and how secondary signs and symbols make up such a reality that is unnatural for the modern inherent self to co-exist. The self can only but become confused by such a predicament, that a form of dementia starts to form in the individual. (less info)
