As far back as I can remember my dad fiddled with electronics and made neat things out of almost nothing -- like fishing lures made of lead, buck tail, scrap aluminum, and a hook or two. He taught me to find fun and contentment in life's simple things, to work hard to get whatever I wanted out of life, to honor God, to respect others, and to be my own person.

My love for photography began when I was in grade school, but my greatest love has always been in writing.

I don't want to just take pictures. I want to capture images that make my audience think outside the box. I especially enjoy mysteries and stories with surprise endings.

Growing up I enjoyed The Twilight Zone because things were not always as they appeared. The show's storyline always showed a fine line between life as we know it on earth and some other dimension that was out there beyond us -- somewhere in The Twilight Zone.
