These are my video blogs of my art. New video posted every three weeks on Friday midday =D I show the process behind my art, and go in depth about the meaning of artworks. I mainly paint in both oils and acrylics, and draw in both graphite and charcoal. I love crafts of all kinds as well.
About Me:
I have two young boys, Jude, who is 3, and Jacob who is 1, and my wonderful partner in crime, Jonathan. I started drawing when I was 10 years old, and first painted when I was 13. I have taken both private and public classes, and plenty of classes at school, but I study a lot on my own time and put forth many hours reading about and practicing art.

WHAT CAMCORDER DO YOU USE?
I currently record with my Sony HDR-SR1 (thanks Dad, I promise to give it back soon!) though right now I'm saving up for a new camcorder.
WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR ART WITH?
I currently use a Canon EOS Rebel T1i, I bought this with with some of my winning from the HP You on You contest. =D
WHAT TYPE OF COMPUTER DO YOU USE? I work mainly on the iMac, but I also use my dv6 Artist's Edition Notebook that I won in the HP You on You contest.
WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU USE TO EDIT? I mainly use Final Cut Pro for my videos, and Photoshop CS5 to edit my art.
DOES ANYONE HELP YOU MAKE YOUR VIDEOS? I mainly do it all myself. The exceptions are when Jonathan will help prep the area for painting or drawing, and will set up the camcorder for recording. I build my canvas's on my own, but Jonathan helps me out at this point in time, and sometimes builds them completely for me =) He also watches the kids for me while I paint or draw which is a GREAT help to me. So in that sense, I don't do it all completely alone. =)
HAVE YOU TAKEN ART CLASSES?
Yes, I've taken many classes in school, and also been lucky enough to attend private lessons. Though I studied a lot on my time even as a kid, just as I still study, read, look, and make art now.
WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO MAKE VIDEOS? I did a lot of research in the library and on my own on how to edit, and there was a lot of trial and error. I'm no expert that's for sure! I started learning how to edit on my own in 2008. I haven't taken any classes on the subject, though it seems like they'd be fun! So I'm mainly self taught in that area.
