This little section changes all the time, and I never really know what to do with 'my channel' (I'm just here to rant & rave most of the time), so I think I'll just share a wee poem with everybody - Hope you can relate :)

So long, Mrs. Blackbird.
Whatever happened to the songs
You used to sing?
I'd hoped that you wouldn't forget
To wake me in the morning
But I hear they clipped your wings.
You must've saved your fate -
With cats on the prowl
It seems stupid to stay -
Even if they didn't hear you yesterday.
They knew your heart was beating
When they broke you in the alley.
Remorsefully they told us -
Still clutching all your feathers -
Without a hint of shame.
They patched you in
A field of white crosses
Owed more than just a name.
But it's too late for you.

You see, they never heard
That sweet song in the morning
So what is there to forget?
And so they say that they
Have no time to recollect
Only "a day for retrospect"...
well then...so long, Mrs. Blackbird.

So long, Mr. Blackbird.
Your gravity has waned on us.
I haven't seen your face around -
Maybe your kind is dying out,
Or just longing for a new dawn.
So they stitched you up,
These careless wounds confined to thought...
But your wings still seem to desert us.

They say that knowledge is power...but knowledge is just something that you learned, or that you were taught - not necessarily the truth. I believe that understanding, and the want to understand is our real power. It gives us access to all the 'knowledge' within the realms of our being. Our well-being is just one simple choice. It's a choice between fear and love.
...and if anyone ever asks you to justify yourself...just tell them that your parents had sex.
